Matthew 5:7,8 RSV

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Merciful! Are poor in spirit, loving, and meekness prerequisites for being merciful? 

Are they prerequisites for being pure in heart? 

What wonderful rewards: obtain mercy, and to see God!
