Luke’s synopsis of the Beatitudes continues:  

Luke 6:21 “Blessed are you that hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. “Blessed are you that weep now, for you shall laugh.”

 RSV

 

Our Father in Heaven, Holy is Your name.  Is Jesus talking about physical food, or Spiritual food, or both?  Amen.

 

In any case, Jesus promises we will be satisfied.  He also promises laughter for those who weep.  The gifts of the spirit include joy. 

God is blessing us.
