Words of Jesus: Tuesday, April 21, 2026

Luke 12:54-56    “He also said to the multitudes, “When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once, ‘A shower is coming’; and so it happens. And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, ‘There will be scorching heat’; and it happens. You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky; but why do you not know how to interpret the present time?”

It appears that Jesus is calling out the people of His day for being unbelieving even though they saw His miraculous works and heard His heavenly teachings.  How about us?  We read of His miraculous works and His heavenly teachings, and the prophecies He fulfilled, and His works in our lives. 

Dear God, please move our hearts to be responsive to Your love for us. Please move us to love You, and abide in You.  We ask for the sake of Your Son, Jesus.  Amen.
