Words of Jesus: Monday, March 30, 2026
Luke 11:21-23 “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace; but when one stronger than he assails him and overcomes him, he takes away his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoil. He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.”
RSV
Jesus continues His response to those who said:” “He casts out demons by Be-elzebul,”. Jesus uses the illustration of competing strengths. Basically showing that he casts out demons because He is stronger than them. Jesus’ goodness, holiness is victorious over evil! One of the many reasons we look to Him. Praise God!
Jesus’ summary comments of: “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.” are a challenge to us. If we are not “with” Him we are against Him and working against Him.
Dear God please move our hearts, move us to be WITH You.
Amen.
