Luke 13:20-21 “Again he asked, “What shall I compare the kingdom of God to? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.””

Two things worth noting here.

The yeast is worked into the dough until it is all through the dough.

It is 60 pounds of dough!

A great amount of dough into which to work the yeast. That’s a lot of work. Is Jesus implying that there is a lot of work to be done, to bring the kingdom of God on earth?

So: Our Father in Heaven, holy is Your name. May Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. So be it!
