Luke 22:28-30   ““You are those who have continued with me in my trials; and I assign to you, as my Father assigned to me, a kingdom, that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”    RSV

According to Jesus’ teachings on other occasions during His time on earth, all believers will also sit at this table with the Apostles:   “And men will come from east and west, and from north and south, and sit at table in the kingdom of God.”   Luke 13:29
